Here we are with the update for June 2020. We are still working from home due to the Corona pandemic, but at least we’ve got some great weather to enjoy during our free time.
The sad news is that we remain at number 13, so no progress for the past month. When we called our friends at Adoptiehuis, they told us that adoptions are rare at this moment, but that the team of social workers are very busy supporting the mothers that are in doubt or already decided to give up their baby for adoption.
It’s sad to know that Corona will also have an impact on the number of mothers that will be forced to select adoption to give their baby’s the chance for a better future. 😥😥😥
Doggies
Last year we had to say goodbye to our little doggy daugthers after being in our family for over 14 years. In november, our lovely “Mieke” died of natural cause and 2 weeks later we had to have our sweet “Anneke” put to rest due to kidney faillure.
This was one of the most horrific months of our life and we had (and sometimes still have) a hard time processing that they are gone.
It’s hard coming home to an empty house, expecting them to show up when you unwrap some sweets, be aware of them running in front of the lawnmower, waiting for them to bark when the doorbell rings and most of all missing them when you’re at home being used to having them near you everytime and everywhere!
Although they will forever be in our hearts, we found the courage to start looking for 2 new female puppies and because we are against bread breading it’s not an easy task finding the right person to buy from (with puppies available).
After some dissapointing back and forth mailing/calling during the past weeks, we were in luck to find a wonderfull Dutch certified FCI breeder (From My Chihuahua Friends) that had 1 puppy available. I had send her a Facebook message requesting whether she had any puppies available or was expecting some in the near future. As luck would have it, a littre was born 5 days prior to my message and she didn’t have the time to respond to the mail enquiries for puppies. As she said, it was meant to be that she read my message first and therefor was happy to report she would keep this little girl reserved for us. Off course due to Corona, the borders are closed and we were not able to go and visit the little bundle of joy. But as of last saturday the borders are open and we planned a visit next sunday! 🤗🤗🤗
Daddy: Aulin Chistar Symphony Prince
As it is a pedigree dog the name must be registered within 10 days after birth and her official name is ‘Ova from My Chihuahua Friends’ but we will be calling her LADY. 🥰
Now, because we still want 2 puppies, we get first choice for a puppy in the next littre from the same breeder that will be born around the 4th of July! (Look out for the following updates)
Scans show that mommy Naevia is carrying 4 puppies and we are hoping that one of them is a girl. Due to pedigree regulations her name will need to start with ‘P’, so we are already looking out for one. 😍
Daddy (To be): Helikos Baby Je Tem Faroushe
